Associated Healthcare Advisors has been providing medical management consulting services since 1985. AHA is one of the few certified healthcare compliance specialist firms in the country. Kathryn Moghadas is President and Founder of Associated Healthcare Advisors, established in 1985. Kathryn has gained a national reputation in Medical Management and Compliance Consulting. She is nationally certified in the areas of Healthcare Business Management, Professional Coding, Compliance, Risk Management, and Nursing. Kathryn is recognized as an expert consultant and IRO (Independent Review Organization) to the healthcare community. Kathryn has been a contributing author and editor to many compliance and medical resources. She wrote "Managing Professional Liability Risk" (1992) and "Healthcare Compliance in the Medical Office" (2000) for Charles Wold's annually updated encyclopedia, "Managing your Medical Practice." In March of 2005, through the AMA Press, Kathryn Moghadas wrote the definitive guide and Physician Owners' Manual, "Medical Practice Policy and Procedure." Kathryn is a contributing editor to several medical management magazines such as "Medical Economics," "AAFP," "Physician’s Compliance" and "AMA News." She lectures at national medical conferences and medical associations and also provides training and Continuing Education Units to national, regional and local entities.
Susan has an extensive background in clinical Laboratory Science and Laboratory Management and Supervision. She has a B. S., M. T. (ASCP), and is also licensed in Florida for Hematology Chemistry Management and Supervision. Susan is a licensed Healthcare Risk Manager. As a trainer, she conducts trainings and workshops in all areas of workplace effectiveness.
Chris joined Associated Healthcare Advisors in March of 2006. She brings with her, diverse talents that has been a welcomed addition. Her skills in auditing and delivery system analysis has been called upon numerous times to assist during defensive OIG audits and corporate integrity agreement compliance. Her ability to enter a new engagement and hit the ground running has been an incredible asset. Prior to working with AHA, Chris spent 10 years in the hospital delivery system. After that she worked in the area of operations in the private medical practice setting.
Debbie Sink, who is our administrator, experiences date back to the 1980’s in the corporate national sales environment. We find it an excellent background as she coordinates the functions of our forward focused national company. When she left that corporate environment to challenge the job of being a stay at home mother, she continued to approach all the related volunteer positions with the same commitment to organization, coordination and completing those tasks without the need to constant supervision. Debbie juggles the complexities of the AHA’s diverse client population. She is the first person to arrive and the last to leave on most days. Her determination to address all the details makes her an incredible asset to AHA. She is smart, funny and mature enough to take each moment as a blessing. Whether it is arranging all the details of producing a class for our educational schools or completing the reams of paper filings necessary to assist our clients to stay in compliance with all the state and federal regulators, Debbie’s painstaking attention to the details contributes to our success. Debbie keeps every one straight. Her ability to organize, coordinate, dispatch all of her duties and wrap them up with a Martha Stewart bow, invigorates us all. Her calm and soothing voice comes in handy when she is managing all of AHA’s clients, vendors, and consultants. |
